15 – 17 April, 2027
The Department of Nuclear Medicine, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, is pleased to announce the 5th Workshop on Solid Target Radioisotope Production and Applications, scheduled for 15-17 April 2027. This specialized hands-on workshop is designed to provide participants with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical training in the production, separation, purification, radiochemical processing, quality control, and biomedical applications of solid-target-produced radionuclides, including Copper-64 (64Cu), Gallium-68 (68Ga), Zirconium-89 (89Zr), and Iodine-124 (124I).
Participants will gain valuable practical exposure to advanced target preparation and irradiation techniques, radionuclide recovery and purification, radiochemical synthesis, radionuclidic and radiochemical purity assessment, and quality control procedures. The workshop will also highlight the emerging role of these radionuclides in PET molecular imaging, immuno-PET, oncology, and theranostic research.
Led by experts in cyclotron technology, radiochemistry, and nuclear medicine, this workshop offers an excellent opportunity for researchers, faculty members, nuclear medicine professionals, radiochemists, medical physicists, and postgraduate students to strengthen their technical expertise and gain hands-on experience in advanced solid target technology.
Join us at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, to explore cutting-edge developments in solid target radioisotope production and their expanding applications in clinical research and precision medicine.
